NETGEAR's A6200 802.11ac Wi-Fi adapter is a Useless product. It is slower than their N900 n series adapter. This was to be the first laptop adapter to connect with their 6300 ac router. Netgear made this a USB 2.0 device. Their dual band N900 adapter provides throughput of up to Mbps 450/450.  While the A6200 adapter is capable of 300/867 it is choked by the USB 2.0 interface to a max of 300/480. A call to Netgear's technical support confirmed the use of a USB 2.0 and also that it is slower than the N900.  If Netgear had used a USB 3.0 interface the throughput would have been able to take full advantage of the 867 Mbps device capability. An 802.11ac Wi-fi adapter is absolutely essential to make sales of 802.11ac routers which are 3 times faster than the n series. Netgear blew it. We are still looking for another manufacturer to step up to the plate.
